If you have ended up on this page, it is because a cold caps system may not be a solution for you.

If you have already started your chemotherapy , then a cold cap system will unfortunately have no effect.

If there are less than 4 days until you start your chemotherapy , you have been informed of a dedicated email address to write to. This is because we need to ensure a solution where you can quickly access a cold cap system and have time to cool/freeze the included cooling elements and cold caps - otherwise they will have no effect.

You cannot use cold caps if you have scalp metastases, head and neck cancer, suffer from cold allergies, have leukemia, non-Hodgkin's or other types of lymphoma, have bone marrow cancer, skin cancer, small cell lung cancer, or are about to have radiation to your head. If in any doubt, we always recommend that you consult your treatment team.
