RAPUNZEL IS A COMPANY WITH A BIG MISSION

We want to spread awareness about cold caps and save as much hair as possible for the many people going through chemotherapy.

Anette and Camilla founded the company in 2023 after both of us had breast cancer – one with access to cold caps and the other without. This contrasting experience became the starting point for Rapunzel and our shared mission: to make cold caps more accessible so that everyone has a real chance to keep their hair during chemotherapy.

For many, hair loss is one of the most visible and distressing side effects, often experienced as psychologically and socially disabling. Being able to keep one’s hair can therefore improve quality of life and provide strength during an otherwise vulnerable period – something we have both experienced firsthand.

    Camilla has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant within strategy, innovation and branding. In her private life, Camilla is married and has 4 children.

    Camilla's passion lies in business development and communication of our services, so that we are always easily accessible to as many people as possible and develop our services in line with the needs of users and the market.

    Anette has a broad mercantile background, including from the medical industry, and is also a trained medical secretary. She has three adult children and the dog Max, and she has a particularly big heart for our users' safety and well-being and continuously contributes her extensive knowledge about the use of cold caps.

  • MARIE KRAGH NIELSEN, USER EXPERIENCE & QUALITY

    Marie has a Master's degree in Health Sciences and she has a background as an orthopedic surgical nurse at Herlev/Gentofte Hospital and has in-depth knowledge of medical aids and patient needs in practice. In her private life, she is married and a mother of two.

    Marie is responsible for the user journey – including service, quality assurance and the important work of ensuring that all our users feel safe, heard and well helped. Marie is passionate about making it easier to navigate during difficult times and ensures that no one is left alone with questions, doubts or needs that could be resolved with consideration and good information.

  • PERNILLE MUNCH-CHRISTENSEN, USER EXPERIENCE CONSULTANT

    Pernille is a trained medical secretary and has many years of experience from both the public and private healthcare systems. She has in-depth knowledge of patient processes and how important it is to be met with clear information and presence. Pernille takes care of the users' questions and needs that may arise before, during and after a course with cold caps and she emphasizes that everyone feels well informed and supported regardless of where in the process the users are.

    Victoria is studying International Business Communication & Marketing at the University of Southern Denmark, she lives in Copenhagen and always has many irons in the fire.
