Order the cold cap system as soon as you know you are going to start chemotherapy and want to use cold caps. Please note that is requires 2-3 days for shipping and the necessary cooling of the cold caps.

Complete the self-test and tell us what type of cancer you are being treated for, what type of chemo you are receiving (if you know) and when you expect to start your chemo course. Then we can tell you if you can use cold caps.

In addition, there are two practical prerequisites for the rent:

You need a freezer that can freeze at least -18 degrees Celsius and where you can have two shelves or drawers for the cold hoods. If you lack space, you can buy this freezer.

You will need someone to help you in the hospital with putting on the caps and changing them at regular intervals during your chemotherapy treatments.

The caps are delivered from day to day if ordered before 9 am in Denmark. Shipping to other countries take 2-5 business days.

  • A COMPLETE SYSTEM

    For the cold caps to work optimally, they must be used from the first chemo treatment and throughout the entire chemo course. When you rent from us, you therefore get a solution with everything you need to have the best course possible.

    A cold cap system consists of:

    10 cold cap sets (10 inner caps and 10 outer caps)

    Cooling elements to keep the caps cold

    2 x nets to put the used cold caps in

    1 x water spray bottle so you can moisten your hair in the hospital

    Disposable shower caps, to keep hair wet under the cold caps

    1 x user manual

    1 x cooler bag on wheels so you can easily transport cold caps and accessories to and from the hospital.

    Thorough instructions are included and we will follow you throughout your entire process.

  • PRICING

    The cold caps are rented on a monthly basis.

    The price is DKK 1,750 per month from the start of the rental.

    In addition, shipping costs to and from your address in Denmark is DKK 500 incl. VAT in total. International shippings are calculated at check out.

    Remember to save the cardboard packaging so that it can be reused in connection with return after the end of use.

CLUB RAPUNZEL

When you rent cold caps from us, you are also offered the opportunity to become part of Club Rapunzel, which is our shared, closed group for all past and present cold cap users. Here we can safely exchange experiences, ask questions, give each other good advice and support in getting through the process in the best possible way.

COLD CAP SCHOOL

As a cold cap user, you and your helper are offered a short online introduction to how the cold caps are used in practice. The cold cap school takes place on weekdays at 1 pm. The purpose is that you are well-prepared before use and get answers to any questions you may have.
